Portrait Art is a one-man operation based in The Wirral in the North West of England and specialises in the production of custom artwork based on photos of family and friends.
Although I paint most of my portraits from photographs I am happy to provide quotes for paintings from life. Now in my late-30's, I have been painting portrait commissions for around 15 years.
Originally from The Wirral, I lived in Cornwall for many years; my Cornwall landscape art can be seen here. I developed my painting style after initially studying the work of the Impressionists, before incorporating various other influences through the years. I paint in oils on canvas when time allows, or acrylics on canvas when working to tighter deadlines.
